It has been a crazy week, getting back after a week off is tough but I am finally all caught up. This week a few interesting things have happened, more Wave invites went out, FacebookGate started again and we started the planning stages of the next big change to the Wayne State Web landscape. Monday-Tuesday was a power outage at the main C&IT data center
Wednesday the Board of Governors meeting where the budget was approved
Thursday the high traffic due to the first day of classes took down Blackboard
Friday came with a water main break at Warren and Cass which stopped [...]

So its rush week, not the Greek rush but get everything up before students start the fall semester. So as we are crossing all the t’s and dotting all the i’s here is whats going on outside in the rest of the world.
